Summer Time Fun

Wow this summer sure is going by fast. In July my husband and I went for a motorcycle trip of Northern California. The weather was perfect the whole ride. We started in San Francisco going up into the wine country. Spent a few days on beautiful back roads to the Trinity Alps.Lots of family time on the lake then off to hwy one on the coast. Spent a few days going back to S.F. through Mendocino. What a great nine days.

To come home to Maui is always such a treat. When you live on Maui you sometimes forget just how special our Island is.At the end of July we went to Hana for my birthday and spent the night. If you have never done that please treat yourself we stayed in a great house and rented it with www.hanamauitravel.com The next morning we had a massage in a magical hale above Hana bay with http://www.luanaspa.com/ . I just can't recommend both of these companies enough ,they are the spirit of what makes Maui special .

If you are coming to Maui make sure to call our office 1888-841-9155 to get more fun ideas. You can have a great stay on Maui and not break the bank. We know these are hard times, let us help find some specials for your family. Many of our companies are offering free children tickets with each paying adult.

Enjoy the last of summer.

Aloha on this beautiful day in Maui. On Saturday I took my brother his friend Marcie and husband to Molokini on Maui Magic for a haft day of snorkeling . It was a beautiful morning as we boarded the Magic we were greeted by Captain Buz and crew . Katie made sure we had juice, bagels and great fresh fruit. As we left the Maalaea harbor the crew blow the conch shell and we greeted the ocean with a wonderful Hawaiian Chant for safe passage. Then off we went to see the southern coast of Maui. Capatin Buz shared his Hawaiian knowledge of all the views we were treated to. In Molokini we saw the clear waters full of tropical fish, what a great snorkeling adventure.I even took a fresh water shower as I got back aboard . Wow that was great! Then off we went to the coral gardens. This location is so beautiful with colorful coral heads and so many varieties of tropical fish. When I got back on the boat I was greeted to a BBQ lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs or veggie burgers ,chips and drinks. It just doesn't get much better then this OH -Oh and Macadamia nut cookies for dessert "yummy". We headed back to the harbor after Captain Buz shared a area that is home to many large green sea turtles everyone on the boat was so excited so see these very graceful creatures. What a day,we all really enjoyed the Maui Magic and her crew . Mahalo to Captain Buz and his crew Katie,Jason and Brian.

Maui has many great boat companies offering lots of different trips. Last night I took my brother who is visiting me on a Dinner cruise on the Quicksilver out of Maalaea Harbor. We checked in and off we went around 5:15pm with drink in hand. Tony on guitar entertained all aboard with wonderful Hawaiian Music and of course a little Jimmy Buffet to. We snacked on Pupus(appetizer's) and enjoyed the serenity of the ocean. The crew was very friendly and helpful . About an hour into the cruise we helped ourselves to a wonderful buffet of food. The menu was awesome there was pineapple chicken, potato's veggies, salad and wonderful Prime rib. The food was so good ,they are catered by Beach Bums Restaurant in Maalaea Harbor. The crew made sure we always had a drink in hand from cokes to Mai Tai's one was never without. This was all followed up by a brownie cake ,like I really needed to eat anymore but I finished it off . Then back to the harbor after a wonderful Sunset. What a great evening in Paradise ,it just doesn't get any better !

Dolphin Adventure

Today I went on a wonderful adventure to Lanai on a raft trip. We left out of Lahaina Maui over to Lanai . Snorkeling off the coast line and viewing the two ship wrecks from world war two. We arrived on the North end of the Island where the captain anchored and let us swim about 50 yards to an excluded beach . This was so awesome to be on a beach no one could get to but by boat. Then we cruised over to an amazing snorkel spot where we were greeted by many tropical fish and sea turtles. The captain even brought up an octopus for us to see. We departed that site then off we went to another snorkel site for more snorkeling. As we approached the 2nd site a school of spinner dolphins joined us for over a 1/2 hour .Wow this was the highlight of the day !
The crew served up a great lunch and macadamia nut cookies for dessert. We were headed back around to Maui via the south end of Lanai when a pod of bottle noise dolphins join the raft to check us out. WOW what a day in paradise I 'll never forget.
